Getting Here

Elephant Point is located only 6km from the Paul Kruger Gate, 26km from Skukuza Airport (a beautiful drive through the Kruger National Park when you land), or a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg. You will enter Elephant Point via the R536 and as you pass through the security barrier you will see the main reception on your left hand side.

Take the N4 from JHB/Pretoria towards Nelspruit

There are four Toll Gates on this route;

1. Diamond Hill Toll Gate (Between PTA and Witbank)

2. Middleburg Toll Gate (Shortly after passing through Witbank)

3. Machadodorp Toll Gate (Shortly after passing through Machadodorp)

(This is the recommended route to Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof))

Within 2km from this toll gate there will be an exit to your left marked as R36 Lydenburg/(N4) Nelspruit via Schoemanskloof

Keep to the left and follow the sign that reads N4 via Schoemanskloof/R36 Lydenburg

Continue with the Schoemanskloof pass heading towards Nelspruit – Road markings provided accordingly

At Nelspruit, where you meet the R40, turn left and continue straight on the R40 towards Whiteriver (Nelspruit – Whiteriver road)

At the first traffic light entering Whiteriver Centre, there is a Toyota Dealership, turn Left at this traffic light

Turn right at the 1st traffic light

Continue straight at the second traffic light and turn left – Towards Hazyview

Continue straight towards the roundabout and take the 2nd exit continuing on the R40 towards Hazyview

Drive approx. 41 km where you will reach a T-junction and turn left towards Hazyview

Turn right at the 2nd traffic light – Where the Lowveld Mall is on your right

Continue straight on the R536 for 32km towards the Paul Kruger Gate

Elephant Point will be on your right – Just 8km’s before the Paul Kruger Gate
